We have all heard this instruction when flying a plane. And it absolutely applies to those who rush in during emergencies to respond to our needs. And yet, first responders have a 20% higher suicide rate than the general public.

Along with my husband Kevin, a twenty year veteran of the fire service and an EMT, I have made it our mission to dedicate our training and experience in yoga, kinesiology and meditation to help first responders build mental and physical health and improve their overall wellness, encourage connection and community.

I have over twelve years teaching and training athletes. I am a 200 E-RYT, 500 hour RYT, YACEP and a Yoga Medicine® Registered Therapeutic Specialist. With a combined Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Business and Leadership, I have led over 6000 hours of classes, specializing in mindfulness, yin, structural integrity, and myofascial release. I use my iREST training as well for a well rounded class supporting a first responders post-shift resilience and pre-shift preparation.
