Clean + Cold Asian Broccoli Salad

Based on the recipe found at The Sweets Life

We had tuna steaks for dinner and I found a great recipe at The Sweets Life that I altered a bit. It was quick and easy, and it was everybody’s favorite part of dinner!

2 medium heads broccoli, chopped
3 carrots, peeled
1/2 red onion, sliced into half moons

1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup sesame oil
3 tbsp tamari
2 tbsp honey
2 tsp grated fresh ginger (minced)
pinch of chili flakes if you like

Cut up broccoli into bite size pieces and rinse. Toss together in a large bowl with the carrots. Whisk together the ingredients for the dressing, then pour over salad and toss. Let marinate for up to an hour or two.
